You'll quickly forget how nervous you were about stepping in front of the camera. The idea of having fun and being the centre of attention soon takes over. After a few minutes everybody starts to relax and enjoy the experience.

My style of photography is very lively.  I'm far more likely to ask you to jump in the air than request a 'Smile'.  Kids are used to be asked to smile and most have a standard grin they use, once they realise they don't have to use it and are free to be themselves, the smiles come naturally.

I have a selection of music to play during the session, but I do acknowledge that your taste in music may not be the same as mine (!) and as the customer is always right, you may want to bring a CD (or your iPod) to create your own soundtrack to the shoot.

With a family shoot, each child gets their turn in the spotlight, then the big kids (otherwise known as parents. When was the last time you had a professional photo taken together?  For most people it was at their wedding...) Then all the kids get together (big and small) to play ! Once the shoot is over the kids get a discounted entry to Fantasy World to play - works wonderfully as a bribe...

For couples and individuals, we'll make the time for you to work through a couple of changes of mood and/or outfit, I'll leave it up to you to decide what looks good.
